This year the primary-aged children will learn about UU Super Heroes and Bible Heroes. This newer curriculum (2004) was written by Gaia Brown, a Credentialed Religious Educator, Masters Level. This program offers children a values-based curriculum introducing them to Unitarians, Universalists, Unitarian Universalists, and characters from the Bible who have acted with courage and wisdom. This program shows the children how these people lived their lives according to the UU principles, and it encourages the children to use their own “super powers” as they interact with the world.
