Through Small Group Ministry meetings and activities, participants establish deeper connections with one another and find a place for religious exploration and spiritual growth.. Small group topics and meeting times are announced on the web site and in our newsletter, The Oracle.
Small Groups
Connections The Connections group meets in the kitchen of the Parish House the last Tuesday of each month. They are dedicated to building bonds between members and addressing the cares and concerns of the larger church community.
Earth Based Religion The Earth Based Religion Study Group meets the second Friday of each month at 7:00 PM in the living room of the Parish House. The group is facilitated by members of both the church and Snow Water Grove, ADF. It is educational in nature and not experiential. For those who wish, separate opportunities are available to participate in rituals presented by the Druids of Snow Water Grove, ADF on a regular basis.
Gaia Spirit Group The Gaia Spirit Group meditates and performs rituals to tune into and be nourished by nature. The group offers earth spirituality suitable for all faiths. Rituals are based on events and challenges shared during check-in, as well as on the season’s gifts. Meetings are at different times each month. Call 337-2490 for current meeting dates or more information.
Mindfulness The Mindfulness group meets Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM and/or 9:45 AM (9:30 AM if you would like to get an early start) to practice silent meditation, mindfulness and contemplation.
UU Book Lovers Bibliophiles discussing a wide range of written works including fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Open to all who are interested in good books and great fellowship. See The Oracle for meeting time and location.
Women The Women’s group meets in the living room of the Parish House the first and third Friday of each month from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. The group provides a time of ritual, with a reading, silence, and sharing. It is an opportunity for women to re-imagine, re-myth, and reclaim herstories and theologies; to share their own stories; and to connect with one another.
Youth The Youth group meets in Parish House every Sunday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

GROUP MINISTRY
